The Pielesti & Robanesti PVPP project, a 60 MWp solar power plant in Dolj County, Romania, has completed construction and received its operations license, confirming the plant is fully built and authorized to operate. Construction started in 2024 and was completed in 2026, spanning close to two years from first works to energization.
The project reached Commercial Operation Date (COD) and started selling electricity on the market from 14 August 2026, marking the transition from construction into full commercial operation. Once at full output, the plant is expected to generate approximately 85 GWh of electricity in its first year of operation, and around 2,400 GWh over a 30-year period.
